As you can imagine from my prior post, I am probably going to be attacked by people in the real estate industry for what I am saying here. My objective is not to impugn anyone nor any group, but to provide you complete information about all the ins and outs of buying houses so you can look out for yourself in the process.

In general, Realtors® and real estate agents perform very valuable services and if they do the right job for you, they will certainly earn every penny they are paid. The issue is just like any other business, you get your money’s worth IF you make sure to find an agent that has the experience and professionalism to provide you the services you need.

There are many agents out there who will provide excellent service and tremendous benefits to you. And if push comes to shove, the good ones can even make the difference in whether you get into a home or not. In those cases, they are worth their weight in gold!

However the opposite is just as true. If you commit to an inexperienced agent who is not dedicated to providing you the best possible service, you can end up without the guidance you needed to get. Worse, you end up making bad decisions based on inadequate or incorrect information. As a result things may not turn out nearly as good for you as they should. And worst of all, you might not even know it. Ever!

My goal in this blog and in creating the breakthrough work, the Easy Homebuyer’s Toolkit, is to provide you the tools so YOU will know the answers to all these things.

Then you are in control of the outcome to assure everything is done in your best interest because:

  1. You know how to interview and choose the very best professionals to help you.
  2. You will know when you are getting the right answers. AND when you aren’t!
  3. You can choose when the time is right to engage each professional, for YOUR advantage.
  4. You will know what the pro will cost you and what your options are.
  5. You can decide if the costs are worth the services you get in return.
  6. You can know when the best choice is to “walk away” from a deal that is not turning out right for YOU!

The goal should be that you have the knowledge to decide if you wish to engage a Realtor®, how to pick a good one, what to assure they will do for you and what the standards of their performance for you are.

Or, you should have the knowledge to be confident and comfortable NOT using a buyer’s agent and knowing you can take care of the process yourself if you so choose.

To gain the in-depth knowledge you need to buy a house and stay in control of the entire process check out the Easy Homebuyer’s Toolkit today!

Happy House hunting! If you have any questions or comments, please do post them here. If you know someone who is wanting to buy a house in the immediate or near future, please direct them here. They will thank you for it!
